While listening to “Happier with Gretchen Rubin” last year, I was introduced to this concept.
It’s simple - you create a list of items (the number of which corresponds with the year - hence 19 for 2019) you wish to accomplish in the new year.
There are no rules - you decide what goes on the list. However, it’s suggested that you focus on action items vs outcomes. For instance, instead of saying, “ I want to lose 20 pounds,” you could instead list “go to the gym 5 times per week” or “only eat out once per month”
